What
is massage?
Massage is a truly natural therapy and can be highly effective – even where other treatments have failed. It has many benefits, including relaxing, soothing, eases tension and stiffness, improves circulation, enhances well-being, releases muscle spasm, prevents adhesions in injured tissues, speeds recovery and aids rehabilitation, maintains and improves muscle tone. A large mix of bodywork techniques is offered, the emphasis being a truly outcome based treatment, which identifies the cause of the problem and does not just treat the symptoms.
The misdiagnosis of a condition due to referred pain is a common and important issue. Referred pain happens when pain is felt in one area of the body but the actual problem is another area. It is pointless treating a painful back, shoulder or knee when the site of the problem is not in that area. Many people under-go painful and expensive treatment, and even surgery, when it simply is not necessary.
A structured exercise programme is offered, along with postural and walk re-balancing techniques.
Effective treatment for chronic pain, low back pain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, neck and jaw pain, TMJ syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, myofascial pain syndrome, sports injuries, headaches, joint pain and muscle aches, fybromyalgia, scar tissue, PMT, menstrual problems, unresolved pain conditions and others.

Walk and Postural Realignment
Back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee and other structural pain can be eliminated forever – without the need for surgery or drugs. Most structural pain is caused by the way we walk and move – our Primary Movement Pattern. Problem posture absolutely leads to pain.
The most widespread disorder in the world is structural pain - pain caused by the misalignment of the body. Backaches are the most common, followed in order by neck, shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle pain. Sometimes the misalignment can be traced directly to the way you walk. Sometimes the way you walk can be the result of some pre-existing misalignment.
Structural pain can be eliminated by correcting muscle development and skeletal balance to realign the posture, using exercises and rehabilitation techniques |
